Sam Easterson Bio
Sam Easterson is an American media artist. He creates nature-related art + design works for cultural institutions and environmental education initiatives. Easterson has produced content for hundreds of art, science and natural history museums around the globe.
The Fish Studio is the third and final major project by Sam Easterson. Sam previously created the wildlife video project, Animal Vegetable Video (2001-2007), as well as the Museum of Animal Perspectives (MAP) (2007-2014).

Past museum venues include the Whitney Museum of American Art, Biennial Exhibition (New York), the New Museum of Contemporary Art (New York) the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, the International Center of Photography (New York), dOCUMENTA (13) (Kassel, Germany) the Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto, Canada), the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Te Papa Tongarewa (Wellington, New Zealand), Museo Tamayo (Mexico City, Mexico), Centre d'Art Contemporain Genève (Switzerland), and the Walker Art Center (MPLS), among others.
Sam Easterson is the first video artist to have a solo exhibition at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY.
